Here’s what you will get from a Connect IT installation

Our engineers are trained to make sure you get a trouble free professional installation service. It starts with a telephone or onsite engineer survey so that our engineers know all about your business and your current IT setup. This baseline information allows us to attend the installation in a structured and pre-planned manner.

Our engineers are commercially aware and will be sensitive to the environment they are working in and with a minimum of disruption.

The installation doesn’t stop when your software has been installed. We will ensure you get a handover and basic training so that we are sure you know how to get the best out of the Connect software from day one.

Our engineers will only leave site once you are completely happy to technically sign off the installation.

It doesn’t end there. The Connect support team is only a phone call away to assist you with any queries or any element of the management software you need help with.

And just to put a finishing touch to the Connect service we will send you a technical recommendations document within which we will pass on our experience and expertise to point out any area’s of your IT that we would recommend you make changes to.

Here’s how it works

1.   One of our Connect engineers will call you or arrange a pre-installation site survey to assess your current IT setup and obtain the information we need to plan your installation and offer you a firm Connect quotation based on these findings

2.   Should you choose to proceed the installation date will then be agreed with you via a ‘Scope Of Work’ document or we will tell you of any aspect of your IT that affects our ability to conduct your installation

3.   The engineer/s will attend your site or sites as per the scope of work and begin the installation process

4.   We will install the software for you at each site to be connected – we will not just give you a disk and leave you to do it yourself

5.   We will install any hardware we recommended in your quotation at all relevant sites

6.     The software and hardware will be tested until we are satisfied both are working fully at each site

7.     A basic walk-through of the Connect software will be conducted with you and we will cover any questions you have 

8.     We will then ask you for a technical sign-off to agree that the scope of work has been carried out and you are 100% happy with the installation

9.     Contact details for our support team will be left with you

10.  And last but not least an IT Recommendations Report will be sent to you within two weeks of technical sign-off to highlight any area’s of your IT we would recommend you change or implement. Common examples include things like a regular data backup policy and an IT hardware support contract in the event of a hardware failure
